Venture Activities
Athletes and non-athletes alike can take time to relax and refresh, or take a risk and learn something new. As each Fit Venture trip embraces both fitness and culture, this Winter Interlude includes a discussion with a local specialist about the regional lore and history.

Surrounded on three sides by windows, the Big Bear Pavilion is the site for yoga/relaxation sessions and some meals. The Pavilion is also exclusively available to Fit Ventures guests for a more private setting in which to read, relax, or enjoy the company of fellow travelers.

The Activity Pass for the Beaver Meadows Venture includes unlimited lifts for the sledding/tubing hill, or access to the groomed cross-country and snow shoe trails.

There will also be the unique opportunity to visit the nearby 600-acre Shambhala Mountain Center with a tour of the Great Stupa. This golden-spired monument to Buddhism and world peace was recently blessed by His Holiness the Dalai Lama in September, 2006.
